PIGLET AMIGURUMI

Piglets are remarkably independent from birth. Within minutes of being born they stand up, find their mother, and begin nursing. From a very young age, they use their extraordinary sense of smell to navigate the world. Their snouts contain more scent receptors than almost any other animal, making them natural detectives of the animal kingdom. They form strong bonds with their siblings and mothers, sleeping huddled together for warmth and comfort. They are known to dream during sleep — and researchers believe those dreams likely involve the activities of their day.
